Musicians including Erykah Badu, Michael Stipe, and Maxwell will protest Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh at an event in Washington D.C. Thursday (October 4), Billboard reports. The “Protest Kavanaugh” event will take place outside the Supreme Court at 7 p.m. Alicia Keys, Esperanza Spalding, Amanda Palmer, and more are also set to appear. The protest supports Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, who’ve accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.

If you can’t make it to D.C., the event organizers invite supports to sign a pledge to protest locally this week. “If there was ever a moment when the voice of the people can come together in concert to change the fate of our nation, this is it,” they write. “Arm in arm, organized and ready, every child, woman, and man, must take to the streets to protest this nomination.”
